It is my hope that others; families, friends and government agency officials might benefit from reading this blog so that they may make better choices and easier decisions based on my families experiences. It is my intention that all who need to have guidance and direction during and or before such tragedy enter into their life, that they have the knowledge that I do now and they won’t have to learn it while trying to deal with the loss suffered by their loved one. The focus should be on the patient not on the bureaucracy and business practices of the professionals we depend on and compensate to assist us when we are injured, ill or dying. This has been a very difficult time just facing the loss of function that my mother has suffered from the stroke, then on top of that, the negligence, carelessness and poor practices and follow through from hospitals, doctors, skilled nursing facilities and government agencies.
